Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 at Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and found her passion to sprint during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within 10 weeks of her first tryout she came 2nd in the 200 meter event during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. She became the youngest world champion in the 200 meters in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed within the top three throughout her events in the Olympics that took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
