Will Ferrell
was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going on to star in
big-screen comedy like 'Elf "Anchorman" and Talladega Nights. Will
Ferrell was born in Irvine in the year 1967. He began his comedy career as part
of the group from Los Angeles called The Groundlings. He was a Saturday Night
Live cast member for seven years before becoming a major comedic draw through
off-color successes, including Old School 2003 and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron
Burgundy 2004. Ferrell co-founded Funny or Die, a popular video streaming
website. He also achieved successes as an actor voiceover in animated films ,
such as Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell, born on July 16, 1967, in
Irvine, California. Will Ferrell is the eldest child of Righteous Brothers
keyboardist Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell), however, he wasn't exactly a student
clown during his time in University High School. Ferrell who was quiet and
studious was adamant about making his mark in football in which he established
a school-record for most field goals made. Ferrell was more of a relaxed person
in homes with a suburban feel and didn't exhibit the same outrageous or funny
expressions later in his career. In an interview with Esquire, his mother said
Ferrell was "very even-tempered, very easygoing." "You do you
remember those tiny Matchbox automobiles?" Will would line up his Matchbox
cars, by himself and be utterly content. It would be a simple question "Do
you want to go to Disneyland today?" or "You want your cars lined
up?" and then he'd need to think about it. "That's not to say that
Ferrell was a straight man. A glimpse of Ferrell's comedic abilities was seen
every morning at high school when the actor disguised himself to announce the
events of the day over the loudspeaker system. Ferrell graduated in 1986, and
enrolled at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. There he
joined the Delta Tau fraternity to pursue a degree as an athlete journalist.
