Steve Aoki

Steve Aoki was created in Miami, Florida on the 30th of November 1977. He's an American electro house musician, record producer, D.J. Music executive. He is the third of Chizuru and Rocky Aoki's children. His father was a former wrestler, who also helped develop the chain of restaurants Benihana. He has two older siblings and a sister Kana who is commonly known as Grace as her middle name Grace, and brother Kevin (owner of Doraku Sushi). His half-sister's model and actress Devon Aoki. He was born in Newport Beach, California & graduated from Newport Harbor High School in 1995, where he played on the team for badminton on the varsity. He went on to UC Santa Barbara and graduated with two B.A. He was awarded two bachelor's degrees, one in feminist Studies and the other in Sociology. He was a college student who made records on his own and held underground concerts in his Biko area at the Santa Barbara Student Housing Cooperative. The Pickle Patch became a performance venue when the building was known as The Pickle Patch. He also was involved in student involvement at UCSB and was the founding member of an Revolutionary Anti-Imperialist League chapter on campus. In his early 20s, he was running his own label, that was called Dim Mak-a reference to his hero from his childhood, Bruce Lee. In March 2010, he released I'm in the House, a collaboration with the Zuper Blahq, a pseudonym of the Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am. It hit the No. The track was ranked No. 29 on the U.K. Singles Chart within its first week of the release. It ranked in the top 5 on both the U.K. Indie Chart & U.K. Dance Chart. It was shown on MTV's Jersey Shore, as well as in the feature film Piranha and the trailer for Think Like A Man. In a May 2010 interview with HitQuarters Lucas Secon, the producer-songwriter confirmed that he and Rivers Cuomo had just worked on a single. He was named the top-grossing dancer from North America by Pollstar in 2012. He has worked with many artists like Afrojack and Linkin Park, Afrojack. Linkin Park, Will.i.am. Lil Jon. Blink-182, Laidback Luke. BTS. Louis Tomlinson. Rise Against. Vini Vii & Fall Out Boy. He is well-known for his remixes with artists like Kid Cudi.
