Big Time Rush

 Big Time Rush is an American pop boy band formed in 2009. The group is composed of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow as well as Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. In 2009 they signed with Nick Records before moving to Columbia Records. The group was featured in Nickelodeon's television show Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28, 2009 through July 25 in 2013. The pilot episode featured "Big Time Rush" the group's debut single as a promotional track. Three studio albums were released by the group: BTR in 2010 and Elevate (2011), and 24/Seven (2013). The band went on an indefinite hiatus from 2014 that ran until 2021. the band resumed live performances and released the single "Call It Like I See It". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush a record contract in 2009 and was simultaneously airing the TV show Big Time Rush. In the following year, Nickelodeon partnered with Columbia/Epic Label Group to create the show and add original music to the show. Their first single, "Big Time Rush" was released on the show on the 29th of November, 2009. The song was officially made public on Nickelodeon The song premiered in the U.S. November 2009 and it was then broadcast globally. The theme song was included in a trailer for the series for one hour , and is the current show's opening tune. The show also saw releases of promotional singles including "City is Ours" and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also covered the Play song called "Famous". The song was released on iTunes on June 29 the 29th of June, 2010. Another track, "Halfway There", was released to iTunes on April 27, 2010 following its premiere in the series. It was their first hit song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 93 thanks to digital sales. Big Time Rush's second single, "Till You Forget About You" was released on September 21 the 21st of September, 2010. The purpose of the release was to announce the release of their debut album. On October 11, 2010 the album, named BTR, was made available to the general public. The album debuted at position 3 on the Billboard 200, selling 67,000 copies in the initial week of release.
